Abstract
The frequent incidence of isolated systolic hypertension in the elderly is forcing clinicians to go to the search for effective and safe drugs for the treatment of these patients. The study demonstrated high efficacy, good tolerability Arifon retard according to the clinic, according to echocardiography, systolic blood pressure, and laboratory and imaging studies. Antihypertensive effect, low risk of electrolyte and metabolic disorders makes Arifon retard drug of choice in the treatment of hypertension in elderly patients.
