Abstract
Conducting the patient with an ascites – an uneasy problem which the therapist in the daily practice faces and demands from it special attention, a professional sent to the slightest change in a condition spent therapy. Edematous-ascitic syndrome - is one of the clinical manifestations of diseases. Found at: cirrhosis of the liver, acute alcoholic hepatitis, cirrhosis, cancer, cancers, congestive heart failure, tuberculous peritonitis. More rarely - in the nephrotic syndrome, acute pancreatitis. Among all these diseases the most common is cirrhosis of the liver. It ranks first among the causes of disability and death from diseases of the digestive system. The severity and prognosis of cirrhosis depends on the amount of preserved functioning mass of the liver parenchyma, the severity of portal hypertension, and the activity of the underlying disease that led to the disruption of liver function
