Abstract
The article describes the ablation (sympathetic nerve denervation) of renal arteries. This is the newest interventive method of management of resistant arterial hypertension. The technical aspects, indications and contraindications of the procedure are reported. Efficiency of this method is confirmed by results of researches Simplicity HTN-1 and Simplicity HTN-2. As a bright example the clinical case of successful pressure decrease after the ablation is described in a patient with resistant hypertension. Average figures of decrease in systolic and diastolic arterial pressure after the ablation are in summary brought.
