Stroke is the most common syndrome in neurological practice, and is the leading cause of disability of population. On the 19 patients with ischemic stroke was analyzed the efficiency of Difosfocin. There were 11 men and 8 women. The drug was administered at a dose of 1000.0 mg intravenously 2 times a day for 14 days. The average age of patients was 38 - 50 years. The treatment showed improvement with Difosfocin movements in the paretic limbs, a significant decrease in sensitivity, loss of coordination, normalization of consciousness and vital functions. The problem of cerebral ischemic stroke saves emergency medical and social significance in view of the considerable frequency of its development, a high percentage of morbidity and mortality, persistent tendency to "rejuvenation" of patients. The unsolved problem of neurological treatment leads to the inability of patients with cerebrovascular brain injury (stroke) lead a full life, to work effectively, to perceive and retain information; patient collapse of communication, social circle narrows sharply reduced social status. The authors concluded that using of Difosfotsin 2000.0 g / day for 7-10 days has a positive effect on the regression of focal neurological symptoms. Normalization of consciousness occurs in 2-3 days. Regression of motor disorders occur with 3-5 days and reaches a maximum of 11-12 day. In assessing neurological status observed a decrease in facial asymmetry and severity of paresis. Muscle strength has tended to increase in patients with 1 to 4 points in 2-4 days. Reducing coordination disorders occurred in the first week, and their full regression was observed in 9 -12 day. 7-10 day, all patients fully responded to all questions. Teams patients performed at 2-7 day. The greatest effect of the introduction of the drug obtained in patients with mild to moderate impairment of life. 8 out of 19 patients (42%) to 12 day did not need any help and could serve themselves. Thus, Difosfotsin affects regression of neurological symptoms in the first days of treatment of ischemic stroke. Difosfotsina high efficiency combined with a favorable safety and tolerability profile determines the appropriateness of its use for the treatment of patients with ischemic stroke, which leads to recovery of neurological function, improved quality of life and contributes to the maintenance of their social independence.
