Abstract
Hypertension is challenging problem in medical practice. The clinical practice guidelines have been developed and each of the international guidelines recommends different criteria for management of hypertension. The American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association and Canadian cardiovascular society published their clinical practice guidelines in 2017 and 2018, respectively. The Kazakhstan hypertension guidelines were released in 2019. This review is aimed at identifying and comparing the differences and congruencies in diagnosis, risk assessment, and treatment between three recommendations, their implications for clinical practice, and areas of future studies
