Abstract
Epidemiological characteristics of viral hepatitis in the Semipalatinsk region in 2000-2011is presented in the article. Official data of the Office of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision of Semey were used in the work: retrospective epidemiological analysis. Found that viral hepatitis A is significant part among hepatitis, there is distinct tendency to decrease the incidence of viral hepatitis A and B, especially hepatitis Bin children under14 years. Among the modes of transmission of the hepatitis A contact-household dominated, and in the hepatits B and C - sexual way.
